Meet the Doula
Hi, my name is Angel. I’m a proud mother of three beautiful children and a faith-based doula called to walk alongside families during life’s most sacred transitions both at the beginning of life and at the end.
My journey into birth work began after the birth of my youngest daughter. Experiencing firsthand the difference that loving, informed support can make, I felt a deep pull to become that source of strength for other mothers especially those who may feel alone or overwhelmed. As I learned more about the alarming rise in Black maternal mortality, my passion grew into a purpose: to be a protective, empowering presence for Black women and families during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
I currently serve mothers and families across the Hampton Roads area in Virginia and have had the honor of supporting families as far as South Carolina. My approach is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and faith creating a safe space for families to feel seen, heard, and held throughout their unique journey.
In addition to birth work, I am also an end-of-life doula. After walking closely with loved ones during their final moments, I came to understand just how sacred the transition from this life can be. Being present during those tender times stirred something in me, and I knew I was also called to provide peace, presence, and care at life’s end. Whether welcoming a new life or helping a soul rest in peace, I believe both moments deserve the same reverence, dignity, and grace.
